Odyssey supports people seeking wellness and their wh?nau to live the lives they want, free from addiction challenges. They create hopeful and safe spaces for people with drug, alcohol, and other addiction challenges to move towards a brighter future. Odyssey has supported thousands of people in Aotearoa. They work with people whose lives are affected by alcohol, drugs, and other addiction or wellbeing challenges.
- Adults | Pakeke: Whether you are staying with us or accessing our services in a community or custodial setting, we offer opportunities to learn skills to cope with life’s stresses, build positive relationships and make connections that enable long-term recovery.
- Youth | Rangatahi: Are harms from drug or alcohol use getting in the way of what you want to get out of life? We can support you to start thinking about different options while staying with us, or in the community.
- Families | Wh?nau: When someone close to you is living with addiction or mental health challenges, it is often hard to know how to support them and how to get support for yourself. At Odyssey, we encourage wh?nau involvement in our recovery programmes. We also support wh?nau to develop skills that will help them feel stronger and better prepared to navigate challenging times.
- Taupae Wheako: Taupae Wheako provides training, coaching, supervision, and consultancy services to support the lived experience and peer workforce.
Our services for adults | pakeke include opportunities to stay with us, or to receive support in the community.

- Te Wairua: our Te Wairua service, which means ‘two streams of healing’, is available for people seeking support with mental health and addiction issues.
2. Community Services: services and other support at our community hubs and in other community settings in Auckland and Northland
- Community Hubs: at our community hubs in Auckland and Whangarei, we support people who may be experiencing harms from their own (or someone else’s) challenges with drugs, alcohol or gambling.
