JoED is an open access, peer-reviewed journal based in Australasia with a global reach of leading research in the science and clinical practice of eating disorders. The journal encompasses all aspects of eating disorders namely their epidemiology, nature, determinants, neurobiology, prevention, treatment and outcomes. The scope includes, but is not limited to those with highest prevalence and burden, namely anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and eating disorder not otherwise specified. The journal also considers articles from related areas such as important co-morbidities, obesity, body image, appetite, food and eating. Articles about research methodology and assessment are welcomed where they advance the field of eating disorders. Journal of Eating Disorders aims to disseminate research that provides answers to the important issues and key challenges in the field of eating disorders and to facilitate translation of evidence into practice. All articles published by Journal of Eating Disorders are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers. There are now over 50 committed Editors from around the globe.
