Center For Eating Disorders
The Center for Eating Disorders (CED) provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team outpatient services for children, teens, and adults with anorexia nervosa, BED, bulimia nervosa, ARFID and related disorders in the state of Michigan. Their treatment team is comprised of eating disorder treatment specialists from the fields of social work, psychology, counseling, and nutrition, including collaborative partners from medical and other professions with specialized training in eating disorder diagnosis and treatment. These services are now offered via telehealth, allowing those from communities outside of commuting distance to access our experienced care. Services offered by the Center for Eating Disorders include:

The team treatment approach includes individual psychotherapy, medical care and pharmacotherapy, nutrition counseling, Family Based Therapy (FBT), body image work, trauma evaluation and treatment, couples/marital counseling, and psychoeducation and support groups. Treatment begins with a telehealth-based initial assessment with a clinical specialist to determine a recommended personalized treatment plan as well as an appropriate level of care. If a higher level of care is recommended, CED will assist you in that process.
