  • Research and documentationof Alzheimer’s in Kenya to inform policy and practice as well as advocate for the provision of services for the affected.

The Uruguayan Association of Alzheimer's and similar is a non-profit institution that provide ssupport to people affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias to improve their quality of life and that of their family environment and communicate to society in general the knowledge and advances in the problem of Alzheimer's and other dementias. The organisation aims be a national reference in Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, both in the awareness, training and execution of activities aimed at affected people and their families, caregivers and society in general.

The Vietnam Alzheimer Disease & Neurocognitive Disorders Association (VnADA) is an association based in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam proud to have developed the Guideline of Diagnosis and Treatment on Dementia in 2018, as well as a Dementia Unit network. Some of the services provided by the association include:

Turkish Alzheimer Association
Turkish Alzheimer Association

The Alzheimer's Association of Turkey is a non-governmental organization established in 1997 by patient relatives and physicians specialized in Alzheimer's disease and serves with 15 branches throughout Turkey. The highest priority in the activities of the association is given to raising awareness and educating our people about Alzheimer's disease and care and increasing the quality of life of people and families suffering from this disease. With the support of physicians and volunteers specialized in Alzheimer's Disease, it provides all kinds of social support and training to Alzheimer's patients and their relatives;

  • It trains doctors, nurses and health personnel so that Alzheimer's patients can be cared for correctly and with quality care during the disease process;
  • It organizes psychological support and solidarity meetings for the relatives of Alzheimer's patients under the direction of expert psychologists;
  • It opens special branch centers related to Alzheimer's disease and provides infrastructure, medical tools and equipment, devices, rehabilitation equipment and personnel for these centers;
  • It provides quality consultancy to the nursing homes/nursing homes to be opened.
