Blue Voices Beyond Blue
Blue Voices Beyond Blue

blueVoices is Beyond Blue's reference group for people who have personal experience of anxiety, depression or suicide, or support someone who does. blueVoices members share their perspectives with Beyond Blue to inform our work and ensure that people's experiences are reflected accurately in everything we do. Participation by people whose lives have been affected by anxiety, depression and suicide is a major aspect of all Beyond Blue projects. Opportunities are varied and may include:

  • Sharing stories for use in Beyond Blue's campaigns, information materials or projects
  • Providing feedback on information resources, position statements or campaign materials
  • Participating in committees and advisory groups
  • Taking part in research projects.

In the online membership area, blueVoices members can connect with each other, participate in discussions, read news relating to mental health and take part in activities to inform Beyond Blue projects. As part of your membership, you will be contacted by Beyond Blue with opportunities to provide input or participate in Beyond Blue's programs and activities that may be relevant to your personal experience and interest.

Consumer/Survivor Network Central West (CSN-CW)
Consumer/Survivor Network Central West (CSN-CW)

The Consumer/Survivor Network Central West (CSN-CW)  is a program for Mental Health Consumers a chance to voice their opinions about the services in Central West, such as what needs exist and service gaps. This voice can take many forms such as through Meetings, Reports, Surveys and Conferences. The Coordinator of the CSN has a seat on the Mental Health and Addiction Core Action Group of the CW LHIN providing a standing report. This process provides, for the first time in Ontario, the consumer a “voice” informing where the funding is directed.
